For some reason, when summer began, my skin broke out unprovoked. Nothing in my skincare routine had changed, so I was extremely confused. After the break out, I was left with some dark spots around my cheek area that I didn’t know had to deal with. I wear sunscreen everyday as a preventative for dark spots, but I didn’t have any knowledge of how to deal with dark spots after they popped up. AHAs are water soluble acids that are meant to improve skin texture and uneven skin tone. BHAs are oil soluble exfoliants that are supposed to unclog pores and remove excess oil from the skin. BHAs are a little stronger than AHAs, which is why some products with BHAs can irritate your skin more. PHAs are a weaker version of AHAs, and great for people with sensitive skin.
Do the acids balance each other?
The best part about the Miracle Toner is that it’s the perfect combination of all 3 acids. Even with my sensitive skin, the toner was able to reduce the appearance of my dark spots, I never experienced any irritation or redness. I will say that I did feel some cool tingling, but that was because of the tea tree leaf extract.
Though the name says 30 days, this doesn’t mean your dark spots and acne will be gone in 30 days, but you’ll still see quite a difference.
I just moved to a new city for college, and the new environment and water source has taken a toll on my skin. What’s saving me at the moment is the Miracle Toner. Slowly, but surely, my skin is going back to normal.
